This is a specially equipped centre where, with lessons and practical exercises (learning by doing) you are taught how to locate, dig out, and rescue victims caught up in an avalanche. The device is, essentially, a unit that transmits a signal, which is received by another unit activated during search and rescue operations.
Such opearations should be done carefully and methodically, requiring thorough training in the the techniques required for mountain safety.
The courses are open to everyone.
